Bath and Vanity

Bath and Vanity

The Bath has two doors that close off the room when individuals or groups need privacy, on the outer walls are some cloth separators that allow the the bath and wood patio to be separated, for when the bath is made public. The vanity has a toilet (doors hinged pub style) and closet, as well as a wide table for brushing teeth and a table for folding clothes.

The Commons

The Commons

The Commons is the warmest place in the house, and it isn't uncommon to see everybody crashed out sleeping in front of the fire place. Heath also uses the fireplace for some of her cooking.

The quartet have spruced the room up with a desk, and built up their bed out of layers of reed mats padded between and over with quilts. They are more into having space than the clutter of commodities at this point.

Storage Room

Storage Room

Jynx originally intended to have a second exit to the storage room into the commons, but the team got tired of wall making, and in this case, door making, and so decided on a single layer wall, limiting access to the room through the kitchen, which can be closed off with a sliding door. The hallway entrance from the front gate is used to store wood, and also to dry clothes in inclement weather.

Joe and Blake's Bedroom

Joe and Blake's Bedroom

Joe and Blake have made their room a veritable warehouse of precious metals and hand-held weapons. While most of the weapons visible, most of the treasure lies concealed in false walls within the closet, or in the chest at the foot of their bed.

Heath's Room

Heath's Room

Though it should be the darkest in the house, the room is accented with pink tiles, bright colors. Combined with specially placed glass brickwork and squared off mason jars integrated into the walls, Heath has plenty of light to read by. Heath is prone to using the mason jars as cubbies for her pencils, pens, and candy, even though this has a negative impact on ambient light.

Kitchen

Kitchen

The kitchen is actually the second warmest place in the house. This is because the stove surface has two component parts that can run on electricity and wood. When it gets too hot, Heath will throw open the windows. Thus far Heath has been lucky that there is enough power to keep the stove and hot water heaters powered, or else they might have to fall back to wood boiler technology for cooking.

George and Jude's Bedroom

George and Jude's Bedroom

Jude and George really like a simple room, neat and tidy. They are quite happy to have Heath clean their room twice a week, as neither of them are particularly neat or tidy without help.

It’s a good thing that Heath likes to keep things tidy, otherwise she might be put out by all the work.
